A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Monday morning in northern Oakland County. The Michigan State Police say that they were notified at 9:50 a.m. Monday, May 29, with a reported crash on Holly Road at Belford in Holly Township. A 53-year-old Burton man was killed after the 2002 Honda motorcycle he was driving collided with a pickup truck. He had been northbound on Holly Road when a Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a 66-year-old Novi man, turned left in front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, the Michigan State Police said .
